Robert "Bo" Brooks

Robert “Bo” Brooks of Slocomb, Alabama passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021. He was 54.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Leon Adams and Reverend Joel Snell officiating.  Burial will follow at the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory directing.  Family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, August 4, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel.  Family will accept flowers or contributions may be made to Mt. Gilead Baptist Church, 7638 Highway 87 Elba, Alabama, 36323.

Bo was born on March 17, 1967, to the late James Robert and Mary Joyce Hataway Brooks.  He was a strong Christian man who loved his kids and family and never met a stranger.  He took much pride in keeping his lawn and home immaculate.  One of his favorite places to visit was Water World.

Survivors include his children Jessy James and Shannon Nicole Brooks, both of Slocomb; sister, Teresa Emfinger (Dewey) of Elba; nieces, Keyanna Mitchell (Douglas) and Angie Brown, both of Enterprise, and Jana Emfinger of Enterprise; nephew, Joshua Brown of Geneva; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.
