Robbie N. Parrish

Robbie Nell Parrish, 86, of Coffee Springs, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025. A lifelong resident of Coffee County, Robbie was deeply rooted in her community and cherished by all who knew her.

Robbie was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald Parrish, and her parents, Arie and Lillie Ruth Herrington, and her great-granddaughter Ruby Huffman. She dedicated her life to serving her family, her church, and her neighbors. An active member of Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church, Robbie’s faith was evident in her generous spirit and her passion for cooking and gardening. She was known for her open heart and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.

A proud graduate of Enterprise High School, Robbie worked as a seamstress but always prioritized her family above all else. Her legacy lives on through her daughters, Donna Huffman (Stephen) and Lisa McCormick (Robbie), and her two sisters, Myrtle Smith and Margie Herrington. Robbie is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Amanda Boyles, Zachery Huffman (Tiffany), Chantelle Ablakwa (Cephas), Sarah Campbell (Brandon), Cassie Schmitt-Matzen (Josh), and Alexandra Evans (Isaac). She was a proud grandmother to 10 great-grandchildren: Sunnie, Isaiah, Isabella, Lily, Huffman, Ryan, Cephas, David, Thaddeus, and Judah.

Robbie Nell Parrish will be remembered for her unwavering love, her commitment to her family, and her unwavering love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Her warmth and kindness will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday the 8th of January 2025 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory at 11AM.Burial will take place at Marvin Chapel Assembly of God Church Cemetery with Pastor Greg Lay officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home Directing. The family will receive friends from 10AM until service time on Wednesday.
