Rita Storey

Rita Storey, of Clayhatchee, passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018. She was 78. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Pastor Tony Deese officiating. The family will receive friends Friday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time. Rita was born June 3, 1940, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry D. Storey; parents, Frank and Cecile Duggins Mchaines; one sister; and a sister-in-law, Sue Sanders. Survivors include two daughters: Christine Wilson of Cloverdale, IN and Tina Storey (Mike) of Clayhatchee, AL; two step-sons: Jerry Hopkins (Sherri) and Scott Hopkins (Donna) of Ellisville, MS; sister-in-law, Lynn Golden of Eufaula, AL; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. The family thanks Covenant Hospice for their loving, compassionate care.
