Richard R Brower

Richard Brower of Coffee Springs, Alabama passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was 96.

Memorialization will be by cremation with a service held at a later date.

Mr. Brower was born September 24, 1927 in California to the late Martin and Kathine Brouwer. He served his country in WWII with honor proven by his receipt of the Victory award. After his dedicated service in the military, Richard still continued to serve his country and community as a firefighter in the city of Portland for over thirty years. In addition to his parents; a son, Randy Brouwer; brother and sister-in-law, Martin Brouwer Jr. (Janet) all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his children: Rock Brouwer (Cathy), Ron Brouwer, Todd Brouwer, Sherry Endres, Barbara Blinn (April).
