Richard Beasley, age 75, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 14, 2026, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, September 18, 2026 at 11AM. with Mickey Counts and Larry Shepherd officiating. The family will hold a visitation from 10AM until service time.

Richard was born June 16, 1951, in Montgomery, Alabama. Shortly after his birth, he entered the care of the Baptist Children’s Home and was later raised by his foster parents, Billy Ray and Geraldine Campbell; the only parents he ever knew.

Richard worked his way through college, earning a bachelor’s degree in engineering. He faithfully served his country as a member of the United States Army and later worked as a hospital engineer. Richard also devoted himself to serving others through his involvement with the Masons and Shriners. Words could never adequately express all the good he did or the many lives he touched through his generosity and service.

He was preceded in death by his sons, Rocky Beasley and Jeff Lozano; grandson Jayce Driskell; his parents, Billy Ray and Geraldine Campbell; and two brothers, Kenneth Campbell and Johnny Campbell.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Driskell (Jendi) of Wink, Texas; his sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Ed Wright of Enterprise; his brother Cyril and sister-in-law Donna Beasley; his granddaughter, Kaylin Driskell and grandson Grayson Lozano; and other extended family members and friends.

Richard did not want anyone to shed tears for him unless they were tears of joy. He was ready to be in the arms of Jesus and reunited in Heaven with his sons, Rocky and Jeff, and the other loved ones who had gone before him.
