Ralph Reed

Ralph Reed of Dothan passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022.  He was 80.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2022, at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Enterprise, Alabama, with Reverend Jim Endrich officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  Interment will be at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery in Fort Mitchell, Alabama, on Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.

Ralph was born July 5, 1942, in Ohio to the late William C. and Henrietta Reed.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Reed, brother, James Reed, and son-in-law, Tracy DuChien.  Ralph served his country for 24 years in the U.S. Army.  He was also a police officer for the Daleville Police Department as well as a member of the American Legion, the DAV, and the VFW.

Survivors include his children, Keith Reed (Denise), Debra DuChien, and Lisa Kilpatrick, all of Dothan, Alabama; and two grandchildren.
