Paul Parker

Paul Parker of New Brockton, Alabama passed away Thursday, February 23, 2023, doing what he loved, “clobbering and butchering”. He was 59. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise. Burial will follow in the Zion Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday prior to the service beginning at 1:00 pm and continuing until service time. Paul was born December 10, 1963 to Jimmy and Patsy Hobbs Parker. Paul never met a stranger and had the biggest heart.  He loved the Lord and his family. Paul was a jack of all trades who could master anything. He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Parker, and one daughter Sherry Katlyn Parker. Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Melissia Parker; children: Jacob Parker of New Brockton, Alabama, James “Jim Bob” Parker of Ft. Myers, Florida, Sam Parker of Ft. Myers, Florida, Zach Stephens of Dothan, Alabama; mother, Patsy Hobbs Parker of New Brockton, Alabama and his mother-in-law Magaline Stephens of Elba, Alabama; nephews, Shelby Stephens of Elba, Alabama, Nicholas Parker of Clayhatchee, Alabama; one brother, Jeremy Parker of Decatur, Alabama and one brother-in-law Jamie Stephens of Eufaula, Alabama; one grandchild, Huntley Parker; and special friends Frankie Allen, Jeanine Roberts and Regina Bryant Mack. Pallbearers will be Jacob Parker, Zach Stephens, Jerry Mack, Bobby Bryant, Minyard Tindol, Jimmy Cotter, Bryant Kreis, and Coach Levy Boutwell.
