Patricia Diane Ammons

Patricia Diane Ammons of Enterprise, Alabama, formerly of Greenville, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 21, 2026, at the age of 71 years old.

The family invites friends to a Celebration of Life gathering on Friday, September 25, 2026, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory.

Diane was born in Niagra Falls, New York, on August 23, 1955, to the late Revernell and Margie Ammons. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Galeton, Pennsylvania. At the age of 18 Diane made her way south to Greenville where she spend most of her adult life. Diane was a cosmetologist for over 40 years before retirement. She was an avid Alabama football and NASCAR fan. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her aunt and uncle, Wanda and Joe Chonka, who were like a mother and father to her.

She is survived by her daughter, Toni Donaldson (Daniel) of New Brockton; two sisters, Nita Ducette of Niagra Falls, New York, and Betty Gorg (Gordie) of Galeton, Pennsylvania; three grandchildren, Ashley Berry (Logan), Jacey Nalley (Slade), and Tatum Cooley (Carter); and five great-grandchildren, Katie Beth Berry, Maggie Berry, Jenny Grace Berry, Landon Nalley, and Gunnar Nalley.
