Pamela Byrd Donaldson

Pamela Byrd Donaldson, age 69, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away on December 2, 2024.

Born to Billy V. Byrd and Mary Sue Hinton, Pamela was a cherished daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother whose spirit touched the lives of many.

Pamela dedicated the majority of her career to sales at Dillard's department store, where her warmth and dedication to customer service made her a beloved figure among both colleagues and patrons. Outside of work, she was a true piddler, often found working outdoors, whether it was picking up pecans or burning brush, she embraced every task with joy and enthusiasm. A gifted cook, Pamela had a special talent for frying cornbread, a skill that will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Her home was always filled with laughter, love, and the enticing aroma of her delicious meals.

Pamela is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike Byrd. She is survived by her sons, Adam Donaldson (Lindsey) and Andrew Donaldson (Kim Foxworth), her brothers Steven Byrd and Tim Byrd, her sister-in-law Christine Byrd, and her beloved grandchildren, Caden and Coleman.

In accordance with her wishes, memorialization will be by cremation, with a family graveside service to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Alabama Christian Academy at 4700 Wares Ferry Rd, Montgomery, AL 36109  in honor of her grandsons.

Pamela’s legacy of love, hard work, and culinary excellence will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed.
