Nora Blanch (Rook) Moore

Ms. Nora Blanch Moore, age 99, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 28, 2025, in Panama City, Florida. Born on October 26, 1925 in Raleigh, North Carolina, she was the beloved daughter of the late Willie W. and Lillie May Rook.

Nora was a devoted wife to the late Hoover C. Moore and mother, dedicating her life to her family, whom she cherished deeply. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering love served as the foundation of her household, creating a warm and welcoming home for all who knew her. Nora’s kindness and selflessness were evident in everything she did, and her legacy of love will forever be remembered by her family and friends. She is survived by her daughters Patricia Ann Moore and Nora Jean Adkison.

In addition to her family, Nora had a special fondness for yellow roses, which symbolized her sunny disposition and the joy she brought to those around her. Her vibrant personality and infectious laughter will be sorely missed.

A graveside service will be held in her honor on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 2 PM at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise, Alabama. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate the life of this remarkable woman who touched the hearts of many.

Her spirit will continue to bloom in the hearts of all who loved her.
