Myrtie Louise (Cardwell) Riley

Mrs. Myrtie Louise Riley, a beloved resident of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2024, at the age of 77.

She was born on October 14, 1946, in Enterprise, the same town where she was raised and spent her life. Louise was a proud graduate of New Brockton High School, where she formed lasting friendships and cherished memories that she carried with her throughout her life. She was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family.

Louise is survived by her husband, Randy Riley, who stood by her side through thick and thin, sharing in a lifetime of joys. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments that will be forever treasured. She is also survived by her daughter Angela Wallace (Jonathan) and son Steven Craig Williams; her grandchildren Aliyah Tello, Amy Williams, Brittany Williams and Alex Williams; siblings: B.J. Cardwell (Kathy), Annie Mae Whorton (Dwight), Marilyn Sexton (Tommy) and Debbie Ann Hall (Joe).

Louise was preceded in death by her parents Marion and Maggie Cardwell, siblings Sara Miller, Josephine Hurley, Jim Cardwell, Mary McCall and David Cardwell.

Mrs. Louise Riley will be deeply missed by all who knew her; from her family and friends to the wider community she touched with her warmth and generosity. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known her.

A funeral service to celebrate Louise's life will be held on Friday at 10 AM in the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home 4550 Boll Weevil Cir. Enterprise. The family invites all who knew and loved Louise to join them in honoring her memory for a visitation hour beginning at 9 AM and continuing until service time. Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.
