Michael C Rorie

Michael C. Rorie of Hartford passed away Saturday, March 27, 2021.  He was 79.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Michael was born January 22, 1942 in North Carolina to the late Clyde and Martha Rorie.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrud Rorie; son, Pete Rorie; and sister, Rachel Hughes.  He retired from the Army as a First Sergeant who served tours in Korea, Vietnam and Germany.  Michael was a master problem solver, an excellent woodworker and mechanic.

He is survived by his daughters, Monika Spencer (Darrell) of Huntsville, AL and Rebecca Rorie of Hartford, AL; son, Clyde Rorie (Sara) of Hartford, AL; grandchildren, Jessica, Stefanie, Cassidy, J.R., Katelynn, Justin and Jacob; and numerous nieces and nephews.
