Mary Alice Taylor

Mrs. Mary Alice Taylor of New Brockton, Alabama passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022.  She was 82.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Nate Sims and Brother Tater Barnes officiating.  Burial will follow at Bethany Cemetery in New Brockton with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. and continue until time of service.

Mary was born on June 24, 1939 to the late Noah and Ola Mae Lindsey.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by seven siblings: Perry Lee Lindsey, Carey Ellis Lindsey, Clifford Lindsey, Jefferson “Jack” Lindsey, Myrtle Lee Ellenburg, Maxine Grissett, and Gladys Sue Day.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Cecil Ray Taylor; her daughter, Jennifer Taylor (David Holmes) of Wetumpka, Alabama; sisters, Perlene Farris of Ino, and Virginia Dowling (Charles) of New Brockton; numerous nieces and nephews.
