Mary Day-Starr

Mary Day-Starr passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Chancellor, Alabama. She was 71. The family will hold a ceremony at the family cemetery in New York. Mary was born July 25, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She was a ferociously passionate loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, friend, and member of the Central Baptist Church in Norfolk Virginia for over 55 years.  As an honored Nurse, of over 28 years, she passionately cared for her pediatric, geriatric, and emergency room patients.  The highlight of her career was instructing phlebotomy courses at a nursing college.   Her parents preceded her in death. She is survived by her three sisters, a brother, three sons, and many grandchildren.
