Mary Jeanette Adkison

Mary Jeanette Adkison, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Monday, January 1, 2024. She was 90.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 pm on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Bethany Baptist Church in New Brockton, Alabama with Reverend Shayne Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise, Alabama directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday prior to the service beginning at 11:00 am and continuing until service time.

Jeanette was born March 3, 1933 in Coffee County, Alabama to the late Macon and Emma Harrison Walden. In addition to her parents, her husband, Alfred Adkison; brother, Bud Walden; great-grandson, Sam Brown; two sons-in-law, Robert Donaldson and Mac Hodge all preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Jean Donaldson, Margie Shafer, Melinda Stinson (Jerry), Billy Adkison, Max Adkison; twelve grandchildren; twenty-six great grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren.
