Martha C. Jenkins

Martha C. Jenkins, age 86, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Slade Stinson officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:00PM until service time.

Martha was born on December 18, 1938, to the late John and Irene Caradine. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde L. Jenkins.

Martha was a faithful member of Lee Street Baptist Church. She loved her family and friends deeply, and her life reflected strength, devotion, and kindness. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Known for her artistic talents, she enjoyed crafting of all kinds and sharing her creations with those she loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Driggers; two sons, Gary Jenkins and Brian Jenkins (Sandy); five grandchildren, Chris Lamb, Casie Vierk (Steve), Charlie Driggers (Melissa), Tyler Jenkins (Kaitlynn), and Natalie “Bug” Bullek (Sean); nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Jackie Caradine, Ronald Caradine (Vickey), and Richard Caradine (Brenda); her best friend, Janice Gainey; and a devoted healthcare provider who made physical therapy fun, Michael Wood.

Martha’s memory will be cherished by all who knew her. Her love, strength, and creativity leave a lasting legacy for her family and friends.
