Margaret F. Abercrombie, age 77, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026. She was born on May 7, 1948, in Germany to the late Sydney and Hildegard Taylor.

Margaret spent her life caring deeply for others. As a devoted military wife and loving mother, she poured her heart into her family and home. She was known for her kind spirit, gentle strength, and the quiet way she always put others before herself.

Margaret enjoyed shopping and getting her nails done, always taking pride in looking her best. She also loved playing games, especially board games, with her family and friends, cherishing the laughter and togetherness those moments brought.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence W. Abercrombie Jr., and by her parents.

She is survived by her sons, Alan Abercrombie (Stephanie) and Daniel Abercrombie; her grandchildren, Carlos de la Luz (Bethany Bryant), Lacy de la Luz, and Etta de la Luz; and her nephews, Mike Moore (Kim) and Marc Moore (Vanessa).

Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Meadowlawn Cemetery.

Margaret will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the quiet joy she brought into the lives of all who knew her.
