Lucille Bragg Speigner

Lucille Bragg Speigner of Enterprise, Alabama was called home on her birthday, Sunday, July 17, 2022.  She was 98.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. and continue until time of service.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church Building Fund, 500 Alberta Street, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.

Lucille was born July 17, 1924 to the late Robert and Lena Lewis Bragg.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gene Speigner, and her siblings, Robert F. Bragg, Lewis Bragg, Asha Bragg, Lavina Adams, Commie Ree Rinehart, Ina Mae Howell, Melba Vasser, Edna Taylor, Winell Shipman, Claudine Ziglar, Davis “Little Buddy” Bragg, David “Big Buddy” Bragg and his twin Baby Bragg.  She was the last survivor of 14 siblings.  She loved her church, family, attending Sunday school class, and anything you can do with your hands with string and cloth.

Survivors include her son, Rickey Speigner (Denette) of Dickson, Tennessee, and grandchildren, Amber Michelle Speigner of Nashville, Tennessee, and Gene Allen Speigner of Dickson, Tennessee.
