Luciano Juárez Vargas, un querido padre, abuelo y pilar de su comunidad, falleció pacíficamente el 27 de febrero de 2025 en Troy, Alabama, a la edad de 82 años.

Luciano, hijo de Roberto Juárez y Marie Asunción Vargas, dedicó su vida a su familia y al arte de la agricultura, encarnando una ética de trabajo que inspiró a todos los que lo conocieron. Luciano Juarez Vargas, a beloved father, grandfather, and pillar of his community, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2025, in Troy, Alabama, at the age of 82.

Born to Roberto Juarez and Maria Asuncion Vargas, Luciano dedicated his life to his family and the art of farming, embodying a work ethic that inspired all who knew him. An enduring example of integrity and dedication, Luciano’s life was a testament to the importance of family and community. He touched the hearts of many, and his spirit will forever remain alive in the memories of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

Luciano is survived by his cherished daughter, Ana Bertha Juarez (Rene), and his sons, Jose (Silvia), Flavio (Ana Rosa), Ines, and Antonino (Eloisa). He leaves behind a loving legacy of 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his spirit and values. Luciano’s surviving siblings, Maria, Marcelina, and Miguel, will continue to honor his legacy, remembering the warmth and love he brought to their lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 50 years Petra Mendez, his daughter Guadalupe, siblings, Luis, Modesta, Bertha, and Jose Santos, whose memories he held dear.
