Louise W (Walden) Godwin

Louise W. Godwin passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024.  She was 96.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Cool Springs Baptist Church in Enterprise.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Friday prior to the service beginning at 10:00 AM and continuing until service time.

Mrs. Godwin was born August 31, 1927, in Dale County to the late Pitt and Ella Hannah Walden. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Godwin; sisters, Eloise Eckhouse, Nancy Ruth Bass, Eunice Sconyers, and Merle Horn; and brothers, Glen, Herschel, Max, Lawrence, Clayton, and Thomas Walden.

Survivors include her son, David Godwin (Charlotte) of Montgomery, Alabama; grandchildren, Kimberly Mouton (Patrick) and Brittany Enis (Darrell); and great-grandchildren, Britton, Coleman (Courtney), Landry, Ivy, Londyn, and Lakelyn.
