Lorinda Leduc

Lorinda Mae LeDuc, 65, resident of Daleville, Alabama, passed away at her home on  January 30, 2022  following an extended illness with Multiple Sclerosis.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise.  Burial will follow at Daleville Memorial Gardens with Deacon Rich Risher officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m. and continuing until the time of service.  Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the National MS Society, P.O. Box 91891, Washington, D.C. 20090.

Lorinda was born on March 10, 1956 to Ernest J. and Luella M. Linderwell in Manchester, Iowa.   Lorinda graduated from Daleville High school in 1974.  Shortly thereafter, she married her husband of 46 years, Vincent (Tony) A. LeDuc, on November 26th, 1975.  Together they lived in seven states and abroad in Japan with their daughters, Lori and Lindsey.

Lorinda worked for the U.S. Government, as an Executive Administrative Assistant, retiring after 27 years of service.

Through her travels with her family and work, Lorinda’s blue eyes knew no stranger; she was quick witted and a good friend to many.  She lived life to the fullest.  She was a beach bum at heart, a fan of Jimmy Buffett, enjoyed brisk walks, loved roses, and liked the color blue.  Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

Lorinda was preceded in death by her father, Ernest J. Linderwell.

She is survived by her loving husband and faithful caregiver, Vincent "Tony" A. LeDuc; her mother, Luella M. Linderwell of Dothan, AL; sister, Cheryl (Michael) Antonelli of Panama City Beach, FL; daughters, Lori A. LeDuc of Columbus, OH and Lindsey (Jeff) Wiseman of  Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Lilly and Davis Wiseman; special caregiver, Connie Windham and many other beloved relatives and friends.
