Linda "Dianne" (Sims) Allen

Linda “Dianne” Sims Allen passed away at 1:50 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2022 at her home in Enterprise, Alabama at the age of 75.  She was a native of Denham Springs, Lousiana where she was a member of Amite Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Amite Baptist Church in Denham Springs, Louisiana with Reverend Kerry Ash officiating.

She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, James “Elmer” Allen; daughter, Christy Allen Winn (David); foster son, Knovie Strickland; grandchildren, Cody Wascom (Desiree), Courtney Thames, Michael Wascom, Trenton Thames, Jessica Kilgore (Shawn), Jordan Winn, and Taylor Winn; great-grandchildren, Kaylie Wascom, Landon Wascom, Liam Wascom, Saylor Wascom, Kyler Kildore, Rowan Kilgore, Emmalyn Kilgore, Waverly Kilgore, Evret Kilgore, Sonia Thames, Wrath Thames, Lysander Thames, Cayden Nissen, Lexus Pleasant, Logan Pleasant, Rosie Breaux, and Scarlett Breaux.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Sonia “Michelle” Allen; parents, Murray Henry Sims and Mary Ella Smith Sims; siblings, twins, Clyde and Claude Sims, Mary Alice Harrell, Lula Mae Jarreau, Tommy Sims, Jimmy Sims, Huey Sims, Samuel “Sambo” Sims, and Wayne Sims.

“I love you more” was always her response when told how much she was loved.
