Leslie "Tex" Cameron

Mr. Leslie Doyle “Tex” Cameron of Elba, Alabama, formerly of Texas, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at his residence.  He was 75.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Reverend Bruce Williams officiating.  Burial will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery in Enterprise with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, August 17, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Mr. Cameron was born May 26, 1947 to the late Raymond and Frances Carter Cameron.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Annette Cameron, and brothers, Allen D. Cameron and Chester Raymond Cameron.

Survivors include his wife of eleven years, Debra Cameron; children, Ashley Spainhoward (Wayne) and Josh Massey (Tiffany), both of Elba; sister, Patsy Harvey of Woodville, Texas; and grandchildren, Adilyn Spainhoward, Hunter Massey, and Bayleigh Massey, all of Elba.
