Latricia "Pat" Parker Bass

Mrs. Latricia "Pat" Parker Bass , age 84, of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away on July 15, 2024, at her home.

Pat was born on August 28, 1939, in Seffner, Florida, to the late Louis and Dovie Parker. She was a beloved member of the community and will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Pat was a faithful member of Bethany Baptist Church and dedicated many years of service to the Southeast Alabama Gas District, where she worked as a customer service representative until her retirement. Known for her independence and loving nature, Pat touched the lives of many with her kindness and generosity.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Dovie Parker, and her husband, Billy Ray Bass, as well as her brother, Louis Parker Junior.

She is survived by her brother, Harold D. Parker, and her nieces and nephews: Wendy Taylor (Kevin), Scott Nelson (Lisa), David Parker (Sherri), Keith Parker (Patricia), and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services in memory of Pat will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 10 AM in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home, with Reverend Corbin Griffin officiating. Following the service, she will be laid to rest in the Bethany Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service to share memories and offer their condolences.
