Lanny Lamar Griffin

Lanny Lamar Griffin of New Brockton passed away on Thursday, March 28, 2019. He was 64. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Enterprise with Reverend Mike Medley and Reverend Lanny Sheppard officiating. Burial will follow in New Brockton City Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing until time of service. Lanny was born October 25, 1954. He was an avid sportsman and loved Alabama football. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brandi Griffin Colli Survivors include his parents, Lamar and Lorene Griffin of New Brockton, AL; daughter, Stephanie Cody (Mike) of Clayton, AL; sons: Lacian Griffin (Jennifer) of Ormond Beach, FL and Logan Griffin (Jessica) of Satsuma, AL; brother, Leslie Griffin (Sandy) of New Brockton, AL; sisters:  Lori Johnson (Larry) of Enterprise, AL and Leigh Seaton (Kevin) of New Brockton, AL; ten grandchildren: Chloe Powers (Birch), Carter Patterson, Mason Cody, Britney Colli, Katlynn Griffin, Layne Griffin, Memphis Browning, Bodhi Griffin, Lawson Griffin and Liam Griffin; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Jim and Sandra Campbell for their loving help and care.
