Kenneth Magnus Akridge

Kenneth Akridge of Conroe, TX passed away in Daleville, November 17, 2020.  He was 78.

Memorialization will be by cremation with a service to be held by his family at a later date.

Kenneth was born August 25, 1942 to the late Magnus and Johnnie Akridge.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, David Anderson and Roger Anderson; and two brothers-in-law, CSM (Ret.) T. Ray Kirkland and James “Danny” Maddox.  He served his country in both the Navy and Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Vira “Sue” Akridge of Texas; sons, Ken Akridge, II. of Texas, John Chancey Akridge of Maine, and Ken Childs of Tennessee; daughter, Kimberly Akridge of South Carolina; brother, Randy Anderson (Gina) of Arizona; sister-in-law, Kathi Anderson; sisters, Betty Kirkland of Enterprise, AL, Carolyn Maddox of Daleville, AL and Gail Mullinax (David) of Wyoming; numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
