Kelly Valeria Tatsch, formerly of Stephenville, Texas, was born on March 31, 1964, in Falls City, Nebraska, and passed away on September 13, 2025, in Enterprise, Alabama.
Memorialization will be by cremation with a private memorial service taking place in the future.
She was the beloved daughter of Duane and Phyllis Eickhoff. Kelly's journey on this earth was one marked with love, laughter, and service to others. She spent a large portion of her life as a homemaker raising her three daughters. She was an active member of her church and local quilting guild, and enjoyed gardening and growing roses.
While raising her girls, she earned her bachelors degree from Tarleton and taught math at Stephenville High School. Kelly filled her classroom with laughter and enjoyed the students she influenced during her years there. She later obtained her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and worked as a licensed professional counselor for many years. Kelly was a patient listener, not only for her clients, but for her friends and family as well. Kelly enjoyed collecting shells on the beach, listening to songbirds, and drinking Pepsi.
Among her hobbies were fishing, reading, and listening to music. Favorites were the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. She spent her life creating and left behind countless quilts, paintings, and knitted projects. Kelly also loved baking, eating and sharing cookies. Her favorites were molasses, and she cherished afternoons making them with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life. She applauded their accomplishments and took pride in being their Mema.
Kelly was welcomed to her heavenly home by her parents, grandparents, and her "Sissie," Estelle. Kelly is survived by daughters, Megan (David) Green of Enterprise, Alabama, Kate (Brandon) Cox of San Angelo, Texas, and April (Travis) Bramblett of Ozark, Alabama; grandchildren, McKenna, Carter, and Hudson Green, and Kayla Cox; brother, Lowell (Mary) Eickhoff; and numerous nieces and nephews.
