Kellie Fullington Chancellor

Kellie Fullington Chancellor, a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on January 13, 2025, at Medical Center Enterprise at the age of 54. Born and raised in Coffee County, Alabama, Kellie was known for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love for animals, having adopted many furry and scaly friends throughout her life. From lizards and rats to dogs and cats, her home was a sanctuary for creatures of all kinds. Though she once dreamed of having a pet monkey, her true joy came from the love she shared with her many adopted pets.

Kellie’s greatest passion was her family. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Amy Chancellor, and her son, Cody Chancellor (Olivia). Her role as a grandmother brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment with her grandchildren: Jaxson Cody Miller, Cayden James Chancellor, Thea Adelaide Chancellor, and the eagerly anticipated Silas Elliot Chancellor. Kellie also held a special place in her heart for her companion of over 20 years, Hal Carrington, and for her extended family, including Tyler Carrington, Melinda Carrington Sessions, sister Kim Malone and brother Keith Fullington, as well as her nephews, Ryan Fullington and Christian Malone.

Kellie was known for her infectious laughter, her generous spirit, and her ability to light up any room. She touched the lives of many with her kindness and humor, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy.

A memorial service to celebrate Kellie’s life will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 2 PM in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory. The family will welcome friends one hour before the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Kellie’s memory to SOS Animal Shelter, honoring her lifelong love for animals, at 25944 AL-134 Enterprise, AL 36330.

Kellie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew her.
