Kathy Carter

Mrs. Kathy Carter of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her family. She was 75.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church of Enterprise with Reverend Kerry Mitchell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.

Kathy was born December 7, 1949, in Riverside, California to the late John and Valentine Moore. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny Moore (Elizabeth); brother-in-law, Ralph Woodworth; and son-in-law, Craig Bostrom.

Kathy was a kind and compassionate lady who loved the Lord with all her heart. She served as secretary of her church, Calvary Temple Assembly of God in Riverside, California, for over 35 years. She poured her life into others as she led many women’s Bible studies as well as leading the senior adult ministry at Calvary Temple. Her love for the Lord has impacted many, many people, especially the family she leaves behind.

Survivors include her husband of 42 years, Richard Carter; four daughters, Shelly Carter and Julie Bostrom of California, and Teresa Young (Bob) and Monica Montoya of Enterprise; sister, Barbara Woodworth; six grandchildren, Lani Carter, Andrew Bostrom (Bianca), Allyson Laurence (Chase), Scott McClure (Anna), Amanda Young, and Matthew Young; and five great-grandchildren.
