Judith Norene Reeves

Mrs. Judith Norene Reeves of Elba, Alabama, passed away Friday, January 20, 2023, at her residence.  She was 84.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Fairview Baptist Church with Reverend Bryan Sawyer officiating.  A visitation will be held at the Chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Burial will follow at the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Judith was born January 21, 1938, to the late Gene and Lovie Barbaree Brewer.  In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by husband of 60 years, Euvhon Reeves, three brothers, and four sisters.  Judith was a talented seamstress who loved making clothes for herself and her granddaughter.  She was a loving mother, and she preferred to always stay busy doing something.

Survivors include her children, Obie Gene Reeves (Joy Angela) of Kinston, Drew Vaughn Reeves (Sherry) of Colorado, and Toby Dean Reeves (Anita) of Huntsville; and grandchildren, Renee Reeves, Andrew Reeves, and Ethan Reeves (Caitlyn); brother, Gibson Brewer (Patti) of Michigan; sister, Ann Liedel of Michigan; sister-in-law, June Kelley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
