Joyce Davis Watson

Joyce Davis Watson, of Elba, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at her residence. She was 76. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at New Haven Baptist Church with Brother Shane Thompson and Dr. Sam Self officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Friday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time. Joyce was born January 23, 1942, in Elba, Alabama. She was a member of New Haven Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie Watson; parents, Clarence and Annie Mae Davis; and a son, Daniel Watson. Survivors include two sons: John Watson of Elba and Jeff Watson (Betsy) of Samson; three grandchildren: Jesse Watson (Erika), Michael Watson (fiancee, Ally), and Caleb Watson; and her beloved dog, Darla. The family thanks DaySpring Hospice for their loving, compassionate care.
