Johnny Ray Pair

Johnny Ray Pair, age 72, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away peacefully.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 23, 2026, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home with Reverend Ron Ball officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Johnny was born in Washington, D.C. to John and Jeanette Pair. As the son of a military family, he lived in various places before eventually settling in Enterprise, where he graduated from Enterprise High School in 1972. A few years later, he married the love of his life, Sharon, and together they shared 51 wonderful years of marriage.

Johnny worked as a material specialist government contractor and was known for his strong work ethic and dedication throughout his career. Johnny was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church. He was a man who loved simple joys—spending time with his family, fishing, and enjoying life’s quiet moments. Known for his steady presence and kind heart, Johnny was truly a good man who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Jeanette Pair.

He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Pair; his son, Tim Pair (Alicia); his grandchildren, Collin Pair and Rachel Pair (Waylon Guyer); and his great-grandson, Enzo Guyer. He also cherished his wife’s family as his own.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Johnny’s memory to Pleasant Ridge Methodist Church at 3925 Co Rd 610, Enterprise, AL 36330.
