John Junior Turvin

Mr. John Junior Turvin, 74 of Brundidge, Al, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2023 at his residence surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, January 9, 2023 at Mount Olive Assembly of God, 3820 Alabama Highway 125, Brundidge, Alabama 36010. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday prior to the service beginning at 1:00pm and continuing until service time. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing.

John was born June 10, 1948 to Alto and Connie Lee Ellis Turvin. He had a love for fishing and gardening as well as Alabama football. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Albert Turvin and sister, Virginia Merle Hartzog. The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff and nurses of Enhabit Hospice for all the care and support they showed during this time.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Becky Turvin; two sons, Johnathan “Bo” Turvin (Christy) of Eufaula, AL, Johnny “Luke” Turvin (Ellen) of Brundidge, AL; one brother, Leon Turvin (Letha) of Brundidge, AL; three grandchildren: Hunter Turvin, Hayden Turvin, Cain Turvin; one great-grandchild, Kohen (Cotton Top) Turvin. Dogs, Brewser (Dooder) and Rosie (Lil Sister).
