John Dorland Overstreet

John Dorland Overstreet of Elba passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019. He was 49. A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise. John was born April 1, 1969 in Pensacola, Florida. He is preceded in death by his “Grand Poppy” Osborne and grandmother Overstreet.  He loved hiking in national parks, photography and working with people. Survivors include his husband, David Pyfrom of Elba, AL; his parents, John and Margaret Overstreet of Molino, FL; sisters: Valerie Patterson (Tom) of Leesburg, VA and Melanie Granberg (Bob) of Pensacola, FL; niece, Nicole Compton and her son Elias; and nephew, David Lank.
