Joey Lee Walden

Joey Lee Walden of Elba, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 in Dothan, Alabama. He was 61.

Memorialization will be by cremation with a Pot Luck Celebration of Life on Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Enterprise Rescue Administration Building, 519 E Lee Street, Enterprise, Alabama from 2PM to 4PM.

Joey was born April 11, 1962 in Opp, Alabama to the late ML and Betty Brown Walden. He loved his Lord, his family, and his job for over 20 years at Elba Country Club where he maintained the course and enjoyed the outdoors. In addition to his parents, a sister, Judy Caradine; brother, Jamie Walden; granddaughter, Hayden Walden all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Denise Walden; children, Sabrina Sims (Jason) of New Brockton, AL, Tabatha Christy (Josh) of Troy, AL, Wesley Sykes (Chloe) of Goodman, AL; one sister, Janet Norris (Rickey); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
