Joanne K. Ebbinga

Mrs. JoAnne Ebbinga of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Monday, September 19, 2022.  She was 79.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 208 East Watts Street, Enterprise, Alabama with Reverend Ed Wright officiating.  The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 p.m. continuing until time of service.

Mrs. Ebbinga was born March 7, 1943, in Minnesota to the late Melvin and Madelyn Kluge Rasmusson.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Lara Dicus.  She was an avid Bridge player for many years at which she thoroughly enjoyed winning.

Survivors include husband of 57 years, Clarence Ebbinga; son, Stewart Ebbinga (Ramona) of Wetumpka, Alabama; son-in-law, Dan Dicus of Enterprise; sister, Kay Nelson of New Ulm, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Ryan Ebbinga (Whitney Lee), Daniel Dicus, Jacob Dicus, and Cameran Clark (Matthew); and three great-grandchildren, Maddie, Coleman, and Eason Clark.
