Jimmy Ray Roebuck

Mr. Jimmy Ray Roebuck of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025. He was 86.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Jimmy Ray was born May 27, 1939, to the late Lafayette and Hattie Roebuck. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Jean Roebuck; grandson, Justin Roebuck; and twelve brothers and sisters.

He was a founding member of Heritage Church in Enterprise where he served the Lord faithfully for many years. Jimmy Ray loved fishing and spending time at the beach, as well eating a variety of different foods. A true patriot, Jimmy Ray proudly served his country first in the US Army before retiring from the US Air Force.

Survivors include his children, Vicky Bess of Toney, Alabama, Veronica Rodgers (Bill) of New Market, Alabama, and Gary Roebuck (Donna) of Enterprise; sister-in-laws, Alice Phillips (Jimmy) and Mary Holt, both of Troy; brother-in-law, Jerry Dunn (Cathy) of Cedar Bluff, Alabama; five grandchildren, Joshua Bess, Brandon Bess (Amber), Sierra Rodgers Farris (Brady), Alexander “Ali” Anderbery (Jessie), and Macy Roebuck; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
