Jimmy Glenn Chandler

Jimmy Glenn Chandler, age 54, passed away on June 19, 2025. Graveside services will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at 2PM in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Aubrey Sullivan and Reverend Harold Cline officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.

Born on July 16, 1970 Jimmy was a proud member of the Enterprise High School Class of 1989. Following graduation, he began a career marked by determination and entrepreneurial spirit; qualities that led him to establish and grow Elba Glass Company, a business that became a trusted name in the community. Through hard work and dedication, Jimmy earned a reputation for excellence and integrity.

Jimmy was more than a successful businessman, he was a devoted father, a loyal son, and a man of deep character. Known for always keeping his word, Jimmy’s presence was a steady and uplifting force in the lives of those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Chandler, and his grandparents. He is survived by his beloved daughter, Natalie Chandler; his mother, Doris Watson Daye; and his special friend, Hope Melvin. Jimmy will be remembered with love and gratitude by the family he cherished and the community he served so faithfully.
