Jimmy Adams

Jimmy Adams of Daleville passed away Monday, February 21, 2022.  He was 67.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Sorrells Funeral Home in Enterprise with Reverend Jim Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Jimmy was born March 18, 1954 in Dothan, Alabama to the late Joseph and Shirley Adams.  He was a hard worker and seemed to have been born working.  He was a master of many things, enjoyed Alabama football and loved George Jones.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Debbie Adams (affectionately known as Shug or Darlin’); children, Lucenda Tidwell (Dusty), Tracy Helms, and Chris Lewis (Christi); sisters, Sherry Stein (John), Betty Coleman (Pete) and Joanne Sanders (Tony); brothers, Joey Adams (Shelby), David Adams and Oscar Adams; mother-in-law, Mavis Berryhill; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
