Jimmie Eugene Wyatt, age 83, passed peacefully at home in Troy, Alabama, on January 8, 2026.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 17, 2026, at 11:00 AM at God’s Way Baptist Church, 1100 Elba Highway, Troy, Alabama, with Brother John Milton officiating. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.

Jimmie was born in Anniston, Alabama, on July 10, 1942, to the late Gene and Kathleen Wyatt. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Joyce Wyatt, and his sisters, Judy, Joan and Artie.

Survivors include by his wife, Diane Wyatt; children, Jimmie Wyatt Jr, Sandy Collins (Paul), Nancy Watson-Hill (David), Paulette Bullard (Scott), and Matt Williams (Ashley); grandchildren, Jaime Wyatt, Jennifer Pate (Josh), Blake Wyatt (Maegan), Jacob Watson, Kaitlyn Lyndsley (Aaron), Tyler Daar (Haley), Spencer Daar, Alex Daar, and Mathew Williams; and nine great-grandchildren and one on the way.
