Ji Young Yoo

Ji Young Yoo of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away January 10, 2023.  She was 83.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Ji was born April 8, 1939, in Seoul, Korea, to the late Keun Bae Yoo and He-Ja Choi.  She was a very talented seamstress and worked at Yancy Parker’s in Enterprise for over twenty years.  She taught herself to sew as a young girl, and she even created her own patterns.  Ji was a kind, hard-working lady whom everyone loved.

Survivors include her sister, Ji Wone Oakes (David) of Enterprise; brothers, Chang Yul Yoo of Seoul, Korea, and John Yoo of Spokane, Washington; and nieces, Susie Oakes Koagel (Tony) of Georgia and Leslie Oakes of California.
