It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jerry Earl White, age 73, on October 15, 2024.
Jerry’s life was a remarkable journey, marked by his unwavering spirit and love for adventure. He dedicated countless hours behind the wheel as a truck driver, traversing millions of miles across the country. An avid outdoors-man, Jerry found joy in hunting and fishing, where he cherished the serenity of nature. A true family man, Jerry was known for his fun-loving nature and infectious sense of humor. He created countless memories with his loved ones, always ready to share a joke or a smile. Jerry proudly served his country in both the United States Marine Corps and the U.S. Army, embodying the values of patriotism and service.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake and Vivian White, and his brother, Danney Gene White.
Jerry is survived by his partner, Linda White; children, Katrina Kugler (Robert), Derrick White, and Kane White; and bonus children, Chris, Cynthia, Carla, and Charity and their families. Jerry was also a devoted grandfather to Kristian, Dixie, A.J., Logan, and Heather. He also leaves behind a loving family that includes his siblings: Terry “Larry” White (Christine), Taylor “Ray” White, Sue Fisher (Bill), Gertrude Daniels and Carolyn McCollough (Mike).
In honor of his life, memorialization will be by cremation, with a family celebration of life to be held at a later date. The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 in Jerry’s name. Jerry's legacy of love and laughter will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
