Jerrel Reynolds

Jerrel Reynolds age, 82, of Coffee Springs, Alabama, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2025, at Flowers Hospital, surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Coffee County, Alabama, to the late Robert and Belle Reynolds, Jerrel was a proud graduate of Enterprise High School and dedicated 46 ½ years of his life to serving as an aircraft mechanic at Fort Rucker.

An aviation enthusiast, Jerrel held a pilot's license and took great joy in owning his own plane. His passion for flying was matched only by his love for farming especially the pecan orchard and his cherished grandchildren. A devoted member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, he served as a deacon, embodying the values of faith and community.

Jerrel is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Joyce Reynolds; their two sons, Phil Reynolds (Donna) and Mark Reynolds (Angel); and his adored grandchildren, Hunter Reynolds (Breanna), Hannah Moore (Garrett), and Jessica Deadwyler. He was also a proud great-grandfather to Caiden, River Grace, Mary Raymond Reynolds, Jack Moore, and Ariana Deadwyler. Jerrel is also survived by his sister, Janie Reynolds Moore.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise from 5 PM until 7 PM. A celebration of Jerrel's life will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with Pastor Karl Hudson and Cavin Cawthon officiating at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Meadowlawn Cemetery, with Sorrells Funeral Home and Crematory of Enterprise directing.

Jerrel's legacy of love, dedication, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
