Jeffrey Neal Grimes

Jeffrey Neal Grimes of Elba, Alabama, passed away Thursday, September 12, 2024. He was 59.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

Mr. Grimes was born June 12, 1965, in Elba, Alabama, to the late Oscar and Sandra Golden Grimes. In addition to his parents, his grandmother, Mary Bell Grimes, preceded him in death.

Jeffrey spent most of his life, over 40 years, behind the wheel of a “big rig” driving endless miles as a long-haul trucker. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and his fur babies.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie Grimes; sons, Kevin Presley of Wicksburg, Alabama, Christopher Grimes (Emily) of Holly Pond, Alabama, and Jeffrey Grimes (Jana) of Cullman, Alabama; seven grandchildren; aunt, Sarah Brewer; sisters, Tabitha Sherrer (Duran) and Wanda English (Curtis); and several nieces and nephews.
