Mrs. Janie Lee of New Brockton, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March, 18, 2026, at her residence. She was 80 years old.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Calvary Baptist Church in Enterprise with Reverend Kerry Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends on Saturday prior to the service at the church beginning at 1:00 PM until service time.

Janie was born July 2, 1945, in Enterprise, Alabama, to the late Joseph Clark and Mattie Lee Maddox. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 23 years, Britt Lee; sister, Loudell Bragg; brothers, Albert, Danny, and Frank Maddox; and grandson, Maxwell Freedom Jones.

Survivors include her daughter, Brooke Wilson of New Brockton; son, Walt Jones (Devri) of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; two grandchildren, China Rebecca Jones and Israel Alexander Jones; and two great-grandchildren.
