Jan Watson (Watson) Moore

Jan Watson Moore of Elba, Alabama passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. She was 63.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, March 16, 2024 at Damascus Baptist Church 774 County Road 547, Elba, Alabama with Reverend Steve Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in New Brockton, Alabama with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise on Friday evening March 15, 2024 from 6 pm until 8 pm.

Jan was born November 8, 1960 in Enterprise, Alabama to the late John and Carolyn Lindsey Watson Jr.  She was a member of Damascus Baptist Church and taught school in the Coffee County School System for 35 years.

Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Thomas Moore; children, Kaley Moore (Kody Yates), Wyatt Moore (Kaitlin); one brother, Van Watson (Debra); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
