James Sanders

James Sanders, of Daleville, Alabama, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2023 at his residence. He was 68.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 5, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Stacey Harrison officiating.

James was born December 13, 1955 in Alabama to the late Annie Ruth Gray. He had a love for hunting and fishing, but fishing was his favorite. He loved spending time with his family and working in his shop.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Annie Ruth Gray and brothers Larry Gray and Lee Gray.

Survivors include his wife, Tangie Hathaway; Children, Jason Black; Randy Sanders; Jimmy Sanders; Heather Lang (Stephen); Perry Hathaway (Christina); Keri Hathaway; and one sister Sue Myers (Keith); and 13 grandchildren

In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Acute Myeloid Leukemia Foundation.
