James Clifton Kendrick

James Clifton Kendrick, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, June 20, 2024 in Dothan, Alabama surrounded by his loving family. He was 93, one day shy of his 94th birthday.

Memorialization will be by cremation.

James was born June 21, 1930 to the late Grover and Reesa Bell Kendrick. In addition to his parents, one daughter, Teresa Kendrick Hoskins; four sisters: Janie Bell Blackmon, Nora Grissett, Flora Byrd; brothers: Aubrey Kendrick, Claude Kendrick, and Acie Kendrick all preceded him in death.

James was an amazing husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He served in the United States Army and worked over 31 years at Fort Rucker, Alabama where he was affectionately known by all of his friends and co-workers as “Sack Time”. James was a kind, loving man who brought joy with him everywhere he went. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Doris Etheridge Kendrick, son, Michael C. Kendrick (Michele); daughter, Deidra Kendrick White (Richard); grandchildren: Grant Kendrick, Madison Kendrick, Carson Kendrick, Avery White, Reese White.
