James “Jim” Edward Yaronczyk

Reverend Chaplain James “Jim” Edward Yaronczyk, of Enterprise, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at his residence. He was 65.

Memorial services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 5, 2023 at Christ Community Church of God with Bishop Richard Deem officiating and Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Enterprise directing. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday, August 5, 2023 beginning at 12:00 pm and continuing until service time.

Jim was born September 18, 1957 in Ohio to the late John Joseph and Helen Bichko Yaronczyk. He served his country in the United States Army for 22 years. He served in the Gulf War, as a peacekeeper in Bosnia, and Operation Iraqi Freedom (civil service). After military service he continued service with Market Place Chaplains in Enterprise for 18 years. In addition to his parents, one brother-in-law, Randy Szell; two grandchildren: Zoe Yaronczyk and Liam Yaronczyk all preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Reverend Chaplain Kim Yaronczyk; children: Samuel Yaronczyk (Casey), David Yaronczyk (Emily), Isaac Yaronczyk (Victoria); siblings, John Yaronczyk Jr. (Jeanette), Denise Vischer (Eric); grandchildren: Abigail, Micah, Addison, Thomas, and Benjamin Yaronczyk; as well as numerous nieces.
