Jack Wesley Thomas

Jack Wesley Thomas, of Enterprise, passed away February 28, 2024. He was 88.

Funeral services will be at 2PM on Monday, March 4, 2024 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home. Dr. John Granger will be officiating with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1PM until service time. Burial will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Thomas was born April 12, 1935 in Coffee County to Wess and Mattie Thomas, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his sisters Verna Caraway and Sarah Spence, as well as his brother Dan Thomas. He was a member of Cool Springs Baptist church in Enterprise, AL. Jack served his church and his country, was a farmer and he loved hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 70 plus years Barbara Thomas, his three daughters Anita Wallace (Carlton), Phylliss Adkison (James Randy), and Teresa Miller (Bennie). One sister Martha Weatherly and one brother Farrell Thomas (Gail). Seven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
